Solidaridad
In Solidaridad
the government has
established
regulation of high,
medium
and low density - resulting
in the
transition from a population
of 80,000
to 200,000. Nearly 2400
acres
of communal lands have
been
privatized, of which 988 have
been
put up for sale to approved
developers
to accelerate the
process.
Work
has been done on the urban
area
infrastructure. In three years,
$25 million
has been injected for the installation of electricity, telephone, water and
sewage services. This has
resulted
in the rapid business and residential occupancy of 1,200 houses of
Mundo
Habitat of the Moisés El Mann group,
three
thousand homes of housing developer
Armando
Palma, 1,500 by Grupo Sare and
5,000
by Grupo Ara. More than fifteen
thousand
additional units are in process.
Planning
is also underway for other
residential
projects such as 250-lot Playa
Magna,
of Grupo Ronac (Bernardo Romero
y Rodolfo
Rosas), the company responsible
for
urban infrastructure.
